PRESS RELEASE: St. Martin de Porres Catholic School welcomes new principal
St. Martin de Porres Catholic School is pleased to welcome Don D. Doggett as its new principal.
Doggett served for the last three years as the South Carolina SEA liaison for the Region 6 Comprehensive Center at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro SERVE Center. Additionally, he worked in various educational administration roles, such as principal in Orangeburg Consolidated School District 5, superintendent of McCormick County schools, and a senior technical assistance consultant for the Southwest Educational Development Laboratory.
Doggett holds a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and a Master of Education in counseling and guidance from Howard University in Washington, DC. In addition, he earned an Education Specialist degree in educational administration and is pursuing his doctorate in education, both from South Carolina State University.
St. Martin de Porres Catholic School serves K3 through sixth grade. It is a Christ-centered institution emphasizing high academics and social standards in a caring environment. The school is grounded in the Catholic identity, providing students of diverse faiths with a rigorous curriculum for academic success.
