PRESS RELEASE: Prince of Peace Catholic School welcomes new principal
Prince of Peace Catholic School is pleased to announce Nathan Barontini is its new principal.
Barontini has been a member of the school faculty since 2017 teaching history and religion and serving as dean of middle school students. Before joining the faculty, he taught a 14-week exposition on Dante’s Divine Comedy at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and served in its religious education program.
He is a member of the Dante Society of America, the Knights of Columbus, and the honor societies Pi Lambda Theta, Phi Eta Sigma and Phi Alpha Theta. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, where he studied history and classics and earned a Master of Arts in teaching.
Prince of Peace Catholic School serves K4 through sixth grade. It is the educational arm of Prince of Peace Church, collaborating with families to offer children a rigorous curriculum that promotes intellectual formation and development of virtue, immersed in the teachings of the Catholic faith.
