PRESS RELEASE: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School welcomes new president
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is pleased to welcome Michael Barnett as its inaugural president. In that role, Barnett will provide the leadership and oversight necessary to ensure that the school fulfills its mission and remains fiscally stable.
Most recently, Barnett served as president of one of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s largest Catholic high schools. He has had extensive executive leadership in various corporate organizations over the past 20 years. His expertise encompasses many aspects of academic administration, such as developing policies and programs, managing finances, overseeing staff, regulations compliance, fundraising and fostering collaboration with partners.
Barnett holds a Bachelor of Science in education from Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is the only Catholic middle and high school in the Myrtle Beach area. It boasts strong academics, an expansive arts program, and an exceptional sports program in a Catholic environment.
